Your gallery is designed to make viewing, downloading, sharing, and printing your photographs simple. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about using your gallery, ordering professional prints, saving your photographs, and getting additional help when you need it.

 

Viewing + Using Your Gallery

Your gallery can be viewed from your phone, tablet, or computer. For the best experience, I recommend using a computer whenever possible.

You can browse through the full gallery, mark photographs as favorites, download individual images or the entire collection, share the gallery with family and friends, and order professional prints directly through the online store.

Favorites

​

Use the heart icon to create a Favorites list while browsing your gallery. Favorites can be helpful when:

​

• Narrowing down your favorite photographs

• Selecting images for an album

• Choosing photographs for wall art or prints

• Sharing a smaller collection with family

• Letting me know which specific photographs you'd like help with

If you contact me about an album, print, or another product, creating a Favorites list beforehand can make the process much easier.

Downloading Your Photographs

Please always download your photographs directly from the gallery using the provided download button.

​

Depending on the gallery, you may be given different download-size options. For printing, always choose the high-resolution or original-size files when available. Smaller web-sized files are intended primarily for online sharing and social media.

Never screenshot your photographs.

​

A screenshot is not the original image file. Screenshots significantly reduce resolution and may also affect sharpness, color, and overall image quality. Even if a screenshot appears clear on your phone, it may look noticeably poor when printed—especially at larger sizes.

Save + Back Up Your Gallery

Once your gallery has been delivered, I strongly recommend downloading the complete collection and keeping your own backup.

Ideally, your photographs should be stored in more than one location, such as:

• Your computer

• An external hard drive

• A trusted cloud-storage service

Your online gallery is a convenient way to access your photographs, but it should not be treated as your only permanent backup.

If your gallery has an expiration or archival date, that information will be provided with your delivery.

Printing Your Photographs

Your gallery includes an online print store connected directly to professional print labs that I have selected for their quality and reliability.

For the best results, I strongly recommend ordering prints and products directly through your gallery store.

Professional photographic labs differ significantly from consumer printers and inexpensive retail printing services. The labs available through your gallery are designed to produce photographs with accurate color, appropriate brightness, detail, and high-quality materials.

Ordering through your gallery also helps ensure that you are using the proper image file and resolution for the product you select.

Before You Place a Print Order

Different print sizes use different proportions, which means that some photographs may be cropped slightly depending on the dimensions you choose.

For example, an 8×10 print has a different shape than a 4×6 photograph. Part of the image may therefore need to be cropped to fit the selected print size.

Always review the crop preview carefully before submitting your order.

Pay particular attention to photographs where people, hands, feet, important details, or objects are close to the edges of the frame.

If you're uncertain about a size or crop, email me before ordering and I can help you determine what will work best.

Large Prints, Wall Art + Banners

The larger an image is printed, the more important resolution, sharpening, file preparation, and print quality become.

For this reason, I especially recommend using the professional labs available through your gallery for:

• Large framed prints

• Enlargements

• Canvas

• Metal or specialty prints

• Large wall art

• Posters

• Signs or banners

If you're considering an unusually large print or custom product and aren't sure whether a particular photograph will reproduce well at that size, send me an email before ordering. I can help determine the appropriate dimensions and file preparation.

A Note About Outside Print Labs

You are welcome to download your high-resolution photographs and have them printed elsewhere. However, print quality can vary significantly between labs.

I can only guarantee the color accuracy, resolution, cropping, and overall print quality of products ordered through the professional labs provided within your online gallery.

Brittani Medeiros Photography cannot guarantee or be responsible for the color, brightness, cropping, resolution, materials, or overall quality of photographs and products ordered through outside printing companies.

This is especially important for enlargements, banners, canvases, and other large-format products, where differences in print quality become much more noticeable.

If you choose to use another lab, always download and submit the original high-resolution photograph rather than a screenshot, social-media file, or compressed copy.

Why Your Print May Look Different From Your Screen

Phones, tablets, computer monitors, and televisions all display photographs differently.

Screen brightness, color settings, display technology, and calibration can make an image appear lighter, darker, warmer, cooler, or more saturated depending on the device being used.

Consumer printing services can introduce additional differences.

This is another reason I recommend using the professional labs connected to your gallery. Professional photographic printing provides much more consistent results than relying on how an image happens to appear on a particular screen.

Albums

If you'd like a professionally designed album rather than creating one yourself, send me a direct email.

I can assist with the album-design process, including photograph selection, layout, and creating a cohesive visual story from your gallery.

Albums are especially meaningful for weddings and other milestone sessions because they provide a tangible way to preserve the complete story rather than allowing your photographs to live exclusively on a screen.

Sharing Your Photographs

You're welcome to share your gallery with family and friends or share your downloaded photographs online.

When posting photographs to social media, please upload the downloaded image rather than taking a screenshot from the gallery.

Photo credit or tagging @bmedeirosphotos is always appreciated when sharing online.

Please Do Not Re-Edit Your Photographs

Your final photographs have been individually edited and delivered as completed artwork.

Please do not apply:

• Instagram or social-media filters

• Presets

• Additional color edits

• AI enhancements

• Skin smoothing

• Heavy sharpening

• Other alterations that substantially change the finished image

If you ever notice something in a photograph that you have a question or concern about, contact me rather than attempting to edit the finished file yourself.

Sharing Your Gallery With Family + Friends

You may share your gallery link with family and friends so they can enjoy the photographs and, when enabled, order their own prints directly through the gallery store.

This is often the easiest way for parents, grandparents, wedding-party members, or other loved ones to order photographs because they can choose their own favorites and have their order shipped directly to them.

If your gallery is password protected, only share the password with people you would like to have access.
