FAQs

DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?

Yep. I like to keep my edits natural and timeless, meanwhile accentuating the beauty and emotion shown in the photo. I believe that you should be able to look at a photo in years to come and still remember what it truly looked like. That being said, I don't "photoshop" the scenery or alter any physical features.

CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP ME?

As much as we'd all like to change something about the way we look, I don't alter any physical features. I wouldn't want your photos to lose authenticity; however, reasonably small marks or blemishes may be considered for removal.

DO YOU DELIVER RAW IMAGES?

Never. Editing is part of the art.

 

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes. A 25% deposit is required to book upon signing your contract. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS?

Engagement sessions may take anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

However, a few highlight photos will be delivered via email within the first week of your session.

For weddings + elopements, 20-30 highlight photos are delivered within 4 days. On your 1 month anniversary, you will receive 100 photos, including all family portraits. Your full gallery will be delivered by your 2 month anniversary at the latest.

HOW WILL MY PHOTOS BE DELIVERED?

Your photos are delivered via an online gallery with options for you to download them. 

Weddings come with a free USB flash drive in addition to your online gallery.

AM I ABLE TO ORDER PRINTS?

You bet. Your gallery is attached to an online store where you can order prints, albums and other items such as save-the-dates and invites. 

Post-event album design consultations are available for all couples.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The weddings shall go on of course, but for your scheduled sessions, if you wanna dance in the rain, let's do it! If not, we'll reschedule to the next possible date. I recommend waiting approximately 4 days prior to your session for an accurate forecast.

 

No sun? No problem. Overcast weather is great to shoot in, so if you see clouds in the forecast, no need to fret.

DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE?

Sure do. Covers me and you. If your champagne cork pops out at me and busts my lens – covered. If I slip and fall on said champagne and bust my @$$ – covered.

Only certain venues ask for this, but I have it if your venue requires it.

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?

Travel costs apply to sessions or weddings that take place at least 50 [driving] miles away from me (95112).

In addition to photos, I offer location/planning recommendations, vendor referrals upon request, and album design for all engagements, elopements and weddings.
